Narwhals are mammals. Narwhals dont lay eggs. Narwhals have one calf per period. Calf's stay with their mothers for 20 months. Mothers hunt for their calves until it is old enough to hunt for itself. Females give birth to one calf at a time. Calves are brown with no spots.
