Narwhal hiding from predator

Narwhals communicate by doing very high clicks, squeals, and whistles. They have a very flexible neck to scan the deep waters of the Arctic ocean. They can hold their breath for up to 20 minutes. Narwhals hold their breath to hide from predators.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Narwhals can dive 1,500 miles down the Arctic ocean. Narwhals travel in pods of 10-100 individuals and sometimes even larger groups. They have 10 centimeters of blubber to stay warm from the cold water.

This is a baby Narwhal that was just born.
